OT Park Occupational Therapy & Physical Therapy
Hiral Khatri grew up with parents who were in the medical field, which inspired her to pursue a career in healthcare. Working with patients with spinal cord injuries, she found very few occupational therapy services for pediatric patients and decided to bridge that gap. She served clients and their families through an innovative monthly subscription box service that delivered tailored exercises and items focused on developing gross and fine motor skills. She also offered telehealth appointments, but her goal was to see patients in person in her own location.
In 2021, that goal became a reality when she opened OT Park Occupational Therapy & Physical Therapy. Patients with autism and special needs work with therapists to master daily activities socialization through play-based learning and an innovative sensory park. When a new space in the same building went on the market, she purchased it, which delivers value on two fronts; fixed costs for the practice and continuity for patients.
Dr. Khatri is a strong advocate for pediatric OT and has received numerous awards for her work. She is proud of her accomplishments but says the true reward is knowing she has built a warm, supportive place with her young patients in mind.
