Lindsey Muser has a passion for natural stone and her company, Formation Stone Surfaces, reflects that passion with natural stone slabs and tiles imported from Brazil, Turkey, Italy, France, and more. Lindsey, who has an interior design degree, went to work for a well-established stone company in Palm Desert after graduating. Eight years of collaborating with customers, stretching her creativity, and learning the industry prepared her for what came next: the owner retired and asked Lindsey to buy the business. So began her journey as an entrepreneur.

Lindsey purchased the Palm Desert property with SBA 504 funding and built a reputation for providing unique products with unrivaled quality and elevated customer service that is uncommon in the industry. In 2021, she saw an opportunity to grow her business again, this time in Napa. Working with Bay Area Development, she purchased property and opened the area’s only natural stone slab yard. Lindsey says owning her buildings is a point of pride, as is helping clients create beautiful spaces they love to live in.
