While Taylor Loesch has had a lifelong love for riding mountain bikes and motorcycles, making that passion a career wasn’t his plan. But when he learned that a struggling dealership was for sale, Taylor made the leap in 2019. Monterey Peninsula Power Sports sells and services a wide range of ATVs, scooters, motorcycles, and UTVs and, as the region’s only dealership, the team takes pride in creating a community where enthusiasts can come together.

Taylor knew there would be a steep learning curve in moving from devotee to dealership owner, and the pandemic was a blessing and a curse. As an essential business, Monterey Peninsula Power Sports was busier than ever, but supply chain issues meant inventory challenges and backorders. Taylor took the experience in stride and also saw an opportunity. Using SBA 504 funding, he purchased previously leased property in Seaside, giving him room for expanded inventory in the Monterey store. At both locations, helpful staff and attention to detail add up to a customer experience that makes every ride even more fun.
